Private Collection of Military Vehicles Sold at Auction

Jeeps, tanks, duece-and-a-half, and armored cars: Military vehicles and machine shop items belonging to the late Albert Demers sold to highest bidder

Stafford Auction and Realty sold the military vehicles and machine shop items belonging to the late Albert Demers at auction on October 31, 2020. Bidding was done in-person and online. Most vehicles were said to have been running when parked and may or may not be started by auction day. The auctioneer did not guarantee anything. Everything was sold as-is, where is. This was a joint auction with John Saugey and Pinnacle Auction & Estate Sales.

Lot 1. 1953 M62 5-ton 6x6 Wrecker Truck sold for $1,750.
Lot 2. 1953 M38A1 Jeep. Parts jeep only— no radiator. Sold for $1,250
Lot 3. MB Jeep Parts Body. Sold for $1,000.
Lot 4. 1950s M170 1/4-ton Jeep Ambulance. Sold for $4,400.
Lot 5. 1945 M3 Half-Track Frame & Tracks. No Motor. Sold for $2,100.
Lot 6, 1960s M114 All-Aluminum Armored Fighting Vehicle. Sold for $37,000.
Lot 7. USAF “Peacekeeper” Cadillac Gage Ranger. Sold for $6,000.
Lot 8. M20 Armored Car by Ford. Sold for $27,000.
Lot 9. 1952 GMC M211 2.5-ton. Sold for $600.
Lot 10. 1971 M561 “Gama Goat” sold for $3,600.
