Colorado Veterans Project to host third annual Let Freedom Swing Golf Tournament
The Colorado Veterans Project will be hosting their third-annual “let Freedom Swing Golf Tournament” on September 8th.
COLORADO – Colorado Veterans Project (CVP), one of the largest veteran-related nonprofits in Colorado, has announced its annual Let Freedom Swing Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, Sept. 8 at the Ridge at Castle Pines North in Castle Pines, Colo. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
In its third year, the Let Freedom Swing Golf Tournament invites participants to a morning of fun and friendly competition to raise proceeds for CVP. Held for the first time at the Ridge at Castle Pines North, golfers will be challenged by the award-winning course layout by Tom Weiskopf while taking in picturesque sightlines at every turn.
“We’re proud to host the third-annual Let Freedom Swing Golf Tournament and to invite participants to play in support of veterans across the state of Colorado,” said Todd Youngblood, CVP board president. “Events like this enable our organization to continue to empower and support veterans, and we look forward to hitting the course with the golfers from throughout the state.”
Participants may register as a single, pair or foursome, now through Tuesday, Aug. 29. Registration includes an 18-hole round of golf, cart, range balls, a grab-go breakfast, Mexican fiesta lunch buffet and bag drop service. Add-ons are available to purchase, all benefiting CVP, including a 10th-hole cannon shot where participants may use a golf ball cannon to tee off for $20. A silent auction will also take place at the tournament. Prizes will be awarded for the closest to the pin, longest drive and first place.
More information on registration and the event can be found at www.golfgenius.com/pages/9239992711195403923 and donations to CVP can be made at coloradoveteransproject.org.
