SPRINGFIELD, Va. – Vehicles For Veterans recently donated over $480,000 to Hope For The Warriors (HOPE), a national nonprofit supporting post-9/11 veterans, service members and military families.
Based in St. Louis Park, Minnesota and through its Vehicles For Veterans program, Car Donation Foundation vehicle donation program provides funding to nonprofits with a mission to build better lives for injured veterans and their families in need of assistance and support.
Since 2018, Vehicles For Veterans has donated over $2.9 million to Hope For The Warriors and its programs benefiting military families.
“At Vehicles For Veterans, we are dedicated to turning the generosity of those who donate vehicles into real, impactful support for veterans and their families,” said Loren Dorshow, Vehicles For Veterans executive director. “By partnering with nonprofits like Hope For The Warriors, we help provide the stability, resilience, and sense of community that veterans and their loved ones need to flourish. Each vehicle donation sparks positive change, offering essential resources such as financial assistance, career guidance, and mental health services. We take great pride in the difference our program has made and remain steadfast in our commitment to those who have served our nation.”
The donations to Hope For The Warriors continue to be used to fund a variety of its programs focused on providing financial, career and educational stability; physical and emotional strength; and social support that builds community.
“Vehicles for Veterans and its donors are providing critical funds to HOPE, allowing us to swiftly and effectively impact the wellbeing for military families,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and CEO for Hope For The Warriors. “As the demand for assistance continues to grow, we deeply value the steadfast partnership and generosity that make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.”
