Punitive Expedition

White Motor Company’s first armored car was one of three manufactured for a group of investors who were forming the 1st Armored Motor Battery for the New York National Guard. Mack and Locomobile provided the other two. This photo of the three armored cars was taken in New York City’s Fort Washington Park in April 1917.
