Tennessee Introduces Bill to Exempt Historic Military Vehicles from Display Plates

Image placeholder title

Legislation (H.B. 149) has been introduced that would exempt historic military vehicles from the requirement to display license plates. Currently, “historic military vehicles” includes vehicles and trailers twenty-five years or older that were manufactured for use in any country’s military forces and maintained to represent the vehicle’s military design and markings. The bill currently awaits consideration in the House Transportation Committee.
