14-11-4. Erik from Michigan says this box is 16-1/2" long x 3-3/4" deep x 6-1/4" high and has a leather handle. Three compartments within are lined with horse hair. It is marked, "Machine Rifle Ammunition Chest M1." 20-round Thompson magazines do not fit in the chest. What was it used for?
