Date your 35mm Kodachrome Slides

This handy chart will help you to determine the age of your Kodachrome slides

If you are lucky, the date that a slide was processed is sometimes stamped on a mount (more common on later white-mounted slides). Without that stamp, however, the mount still imparts some information.

The shape of the mount, the color, and what is printed on it all combine to approximate the date of processing. Use this chart to help date your slides:

Chart of slide mounts with dates.

Dates are approximate. Also notice the difference in rounded or square corners on the Kodachrome mounts — these indicate age as well.
