Who’s Who in the Military Vehicle Hobby: Treefrog Treasures

Treefrog Treasures

Pete Reuss

Back in 1999, the late Shannon Reuss established Treefrog Treasures with the desire to bring together toy soldier collectors from all over the world. Shannon excelled in caring for her customers. She built a community of collectors. Pete, along with the rest of his team, remain committed to giving their customers the service they expect, the figures they want and the comradeship that makes it, well, fun.

That legacy continues under the ownership of her husband, Peter Reuss, and his business partner, Richard Walker. Together they seek to expand the hobby, encouraging more people to “Bring their love of history to life.”

Located in Eyota, Minnesota Treefrog Treasures has a large warehouse with a small showroom-though the company is primarily internet and mail order based. Regardless, visitors are welcome to drop in anytime Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm and Saturdays from 9am-Noon.

Pete and the Treefrog crew offer a wide selection of 1/30 and 1/32 hand-painted military vehicles and metal toy soldiers. They boast one of the largest selections of diorama accessories in the business.

Pete and Richard identified some characteristics that set Treefrog apart from all the other toy soldier dealers, including: an easy-to-use, up-to-date website; excellent customer service; friendly, helpful staff; a huge selection of quality in-stock products; fast and efficient order processing and shipping (Treefrog ships in-stock orders same or next business day!); free shipping for qualifying orders, both domestic and international; and careful packing with environmentally-friendly packaging material. The one thing that Pete wants MVM readers to know is, “We are a purveyor of military miniatures and toy soldiers with the capability to ship all over the world”
