Cordier Auctions & Appraisals will hold their Spring Firearms & Militaria Auction in Harrisburg, Pa., on March 30. Highlights of the sale include a pair of Colt Richards conversion revolvers, an Orelikin 20mm anti-aircraft cannon miniature model, a Winchester 1885 high wall rifle, and fly fishing rods. The auction will be held in the company’s auction house located at 1500 Paxton St. in Harrisburg.

The sale will offer antique, military, and modern handguns and long guns, gunsmithing equipment, fly fishing books and equipment, military collectibles and related art.  The sale features gunsmithing books and equipment from the estate of Paul Korsak of Coplay, Pa. Also featured will be dozens of customized rifles and shotguns from the estate.

Early lots will feature several Colt revolvers, including a pair of Colt Richards conversion revolvers with engraved naval scenes (estimate $4,000-5,000 each) and a Colt Python revolver (estimate $1,000-1,500).  Other handguns will include a Remington Rand 1911 A1 pistol (estimate $800-1,200) and a Walther PPK pistol (estimate $600-800).  Included in the military handgun lineup is an Oreliken 20mm anti-aircraft cannon miniature model.  This single-shot working model of the gun and mount fires .22 caliber ammunition.

More than 150 antique, military and modern long guns will follow the handguns.  A Winchester 1885 high wall rifle (estimate $3,500-4,500) and an 1866 breech loading rifle with Allin style conversion are highlights in the antique category. Modern long guns include multiple Krieghoffs, featuring a model 32 Monte Carlo grade shotgun (estimate $3,000-5,000) and a Trumpf model drilling (estimate $4,000-$5,000). Also offered is a Remington M-3200 competition skeet shotgun (estimate $1,000-$1,500) and a Parker DH grade SxS shotgun (estimate $3,000-4,000).  Numerous Winchester Pre-64 shotguns and rifles will also be offered, as well as a Colt SP-1 pre-ban AR-15 rifle (estimate $1,500-$1,900).

Among the gunsmithing equipment offered are dozens of barrels for shotguns and rifles, stocks, actions (some barreled), receivers, and scopes including Leupold and Shepherd.  Also offered will be a drilling & milling machine and a vintage Craftsman lathe & motor.

Edged weapons will feature a WWII German Luftwaffe first model dagger (estimate $800-1,000).  Military collectibles will feature a Soldier identified WWI French military uniform which belonged to Raymond David Coble, a native of Harrisburg.  Upon graduation Coble made his way to the UK and then stowed away on a ship to France.  Feeling indebted to the French people who aided him, he joined the French Military where he became a forward observer in WWI.  Also offered will be Civil War Era tin types, helmets, and medals.
