BUY A TOWN ON THE CUSTER BATTLEFIELD

Garryowen’s western façade and the tomb park in the late spring.

Garryowen, Montana is the only town within the perimeter of the Little Big Horn Battlefield. It is a polished complex of buildings, monuments, manuscripts, and living history.  It combines the total physical and business infrastructure necessary to a flourishing enterprise, on one hand, with the soulfulness of a landscape permeated with history on the other. And, it is going up for sale.

A VIEW OF THE BATTLEFIELD
From Garryowen, the entire scope of the battle is visible, including the site where Custer was last seen alive, Major Reno’s retreat and hilltop defense sites, Weir Point, Last Stand Hill, Medicine Tail Coulee, the Crow’s Nest, and the Wolf Mountains.  Its acreage borders the original bank of the Little Big Horn at the time of the battle. The town has its own off- and on-ramps to I-90, federal interstate signage, and is midway between Mount Rushmore National Monument and Yellowstone Park, two of the biggest tourist attractions in the United States.

Garryowen’s acreage includes three buildings, the grounds, and water and mineral rights.  The 8,000 square-foot ground floor of the Main Building is crowned by a 3,900 square-foot luxury penthouse; while a private stockade-fenced compound toward the river houses an impeccably appointed office and three guest suites in a green park area studded with shade trees around a paved circular drive.

The property is listed with Coldwell Bankers. Interested parties should contact Matt W. Robertson, Commercial Specialist, Coldwell Banker Commercial The Brokers, 406.869.0563 or check out listing on the web at www.cbcmontana.com
