Affiliated Auctions to hold Summer Military & Firearms sale

Officer's helmet of the very small but elite "Garde du Corps," in very good condition throughout. Personal bodyguards of the king of Prussia, and after 1871, the Kaiser. This helmet has the Tombak metallic body with large convex style gilt chin-scales secured to clover leaf rosettes; one with the colors of the German nation and the other the black and white Prussian colors. Excellent example of an Imperial relic. Included is a wooden box for storage and transportation of helmet (box not period). Estimated Price: $17,000-$18,000

WWII German 1936 chained SS dagger, purchased by seller directly from WWII veteran. No makers marks, SS motto on blade. Some scabbard wear to blade, and loss to enamel on scabbard. Repaired crack in handle next to SS roundel. Overall good example. Estimated Price: $2,500-$2,800.
